Richard A. Conn, M.D. View Resumé As the founder and director of the Hip and Knee Center at Southern Pointe, Dr. Conn specializes in arthritic/traumatic conditions of the shoulder, hip and knee. Dr. Richard Conn, a Hattiesburg native, is the son of the area's first Orthopaedic surgeon, Francis R. Conn, M.D. Schooled in the Hattiesburg public school system, Dr. Conn attended Mississippi State University and received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Conn completed his internship/residency in Orthopaedic surgery in Greenville, South Carolina. In 1984, Dr. Conn returned to Hattiesburg after completing a year fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in arthritic joint replacement surgery. |
